Senior Account Manager – MSP / Contingent Workforce
Location: Surrey (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH)
About the Role
We are delighted to be supporting a leading MSP, working in partnership with one of the UK’s most high-profile healthcare product suppliers. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a major account, overseeing the delivery of services across IT, finance, logistics, and supply chain functions.
Currently, the programme supports around 80 contractors, generating a gross profit of approximately £400K per annum. There is significant potential to scale this rapidly, with future opportunities to build a team and expand into permanent recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee a team supporting ~80 contractors across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure delivery of recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and contractor management.
• Manage GP performance, margin protection, and revenue forecasting.
• Identify and implement growth opportunities, including expansion into permanent hiring.
• Develop and deliver against KPIs, SLAs, and reporting requirements.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team as the account scales.
• Liaise with suppliers, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance.
About You
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has demonstrable experience in a similar MSP or contingent workforce environment. The ideal candidate will have:
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in account management within an MSP / managed services context.
• Proven ability to manage large contractor populations (50–150 contractors).
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience of P&L, forecasting, and margin control.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across IT, finance, logistics, or supply chain functions.
• The ambition and leadership skills to build and lead a team.
