We are working with a boutique recruitment consultancy that has been established for over 30 years and is renowned for its professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service.
They are looking to hire a Research Consultant / Senior Associate to support both their permanent and temporary search practices.
This is a research-led position, ideal for someone with strong analytical and sourcing skills who enjoys building networks, supporting high-level searches, and delivering results in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
What’s on offer:
- Base salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience
- Commission scheme with additional financial rewards for successful resourcing

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end search campaigns, including candidate resourcing, headhunting, and assessment
- Initiate and manage resourcing campaigns across multiple platforms
- Build and maintain strong candidate networks and relationships
- Research clients, industries, and markets to provide detailed analysis
- Write and post adverts; manage job board relationships
- Support Consultants on searches and occasionally lead on specific assignments
- Coordinate candidate registrations, IT tests, and reference checks
- Format CVs, manage compliance, and update client recruitment portals
- Represent the business at networking and industry events
- Provide administrative and marketing support where required
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a research role, ideally within recruitment/search
- Degree educated (First-class or high 2:1, or equivalent)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Reed, Broadbean, and other online tools
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of work to tight deadlines
- Professional, adaptable, and commercially aware approach
- Polished, proactive, and detail-oriented
Working hours:
- Core hours 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Flexibility to work beyond these hours when required
