The Role

The newly created Associate Director position represents a genuine opportunity to step into senior leadership within a thriving consultancy.

Operating fully remotely, you will take responsibility for driving commercial growth, leading a high-performing team, and influencing the strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development – Inspire, coach, and develop consultants to achieve ambitious individual and collective targets.
  • Commercial Growth – Identify and seize new opportunities to expand market share while maximising existing client relationships.
  • Client Engagement – Build, manage, and deepen senior-level relationships with key clients across the public and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Strategic Input – Contribute directly to shaping business direction, operational excellence, and long-term performance.
  • Culture & Delivery – Uphold a values-led approach, ensuring that service excellence and people-first principles remain at the core of every assignment.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven recruitment professional who has already demonstrated leadership success, ideally at Manager or Associate Director level.

You will bring:

  • A proven track record in recruitment leadership, with strong billing or hybrid management experience.
  • Experience in Commerce & Industry recruitment (or another professional services market), with the appetite and ambition to cross-train into public and not-for-profit recruitment.
  • Strong business development skills and the ability to engage at senior stakeholder level.
  • An inspirational leadership style with the ability to grow, motivate, and retain top-performing teams.
  • A self-motivated, highly organised approach, with the discipline to thrive in a fully remote role.
